I am editor, composer, sound designer and audio mixer. Past clients include BBC. Warner, ITV, Channel 4, Frieze, Gucci and Bang & Olufsen. I was educated at the Ruskin School of Art and the RCA.

My work has covered a wide range of formats, from episodic drama to short form online branded content, via fast turnaround corporate promos and interviews, and music videos and 30 second films for social channels.
I have been working in post production for over 12+ years.

I am fast, reliable and creative and I can wrangle a story from even the most abstract footage.

I am based in London and the SE. Happy to travel, happy to work remote. I have a studio and edit suite where I often work from in Hampshire. I’m also often found in edit suites and studios in London.

THEM USEM is the private edit suite and studio of editor, composer, producer and musician Andy Bancroft Cooke. The studio has been active use since 2001, and serves as the physical centre for picture editing, soundtrack composition, sound design and audio production, and mixing.

Technically the studio functions in both the digital and analogue domains, and often employs a structuralist experimental approach, combined with 20+ years of musical composition experience and classic recording techniques learnt from Steve Albini and Greg Norman of Electrical Audio in Chicago.
